Part Updates
There have been several new part updates to the mini-mizer.

There is a new "scarf layer" that will allow you to put a scarf on top of the shirt and jacket selections. Right now there are five to choose from - the four Harry Potter house colors and a "Dr. Who" style multi-color.

There is a new "sleeve-length" tattoo in the arms section - a donation thank you showing the donator's actual tat.

There are three new hairstyles in the wigs section. A variant flattop without sideburns and new blue and purple long-hair wigs.

Some updates
Haven't updated this log in forever.

Anyway, due to the recent begging, I've added some new parts into the Minimizer.

- "I Love Demonspawn" t-shirt
- New York Yankees hat
- A t-shirt with the "blurry Bela" photo on it
- CYCLONE shirt for a project the donator is working on.
- Cat Ears (hats)
- Cat Tails (Capes)
- Wedding Outfits (Designed from a photo sent in by the donator. This is not your standard tux-n-veil set, but rather a gorgeous Thai set. The man's outfit is an (existing) all-white outfit with a new sash layer, the woman's is a two-piece dress, with the tops in the torso area and a matching floor-length bottom in the legs section.)
- A LEGO train-theme logo T-shirt

Remember, a $10 donation towards Bela's vet bills will get you the custom part you've always wanted to see.

Hell Freezes Over
Version 2.20 of the Mini-Mizer was just uploaded.

I tweaked the 'stuff in hands' menus and added some new items.

  • Toga
  • Leopard Print Caveman Toga (not a real fur coat, that's cruel.)
  • Santa Hat
  • Shovel
  • Baseball
  • Club
  • Broom

I'm planning on adding even more, time permitting. We'll see how that goes.

New version up.
Just uploaded a revision to the 'Mizer, along with a revamped menu system for my site. (Yes, unbelievably, there will soon be other content to my site beyond just the 'Mizer.)

Added some short coats/vests to the cape section, and some much-requested coffee to the stuff section. Also moved an egg, and revamped the information pages.

For those of you who can't find them, there's now a page off the main menu that reveals where all the eggs are.

The little mini figures refuse to die.

Yes, the site needs an update. It's on my to-do list, but work is a bit overwhelming at the moment.

15 new parts, plus extra tweaky goodness
Just uploaded 2.18

New parts include:
  • Magnifying Glass (Donation part)
  • Euphonium (Donation part - probably my most challenging part to date)
  • Palm Pilot (Donation part)
  • Nurse Torso (Donation part)
  • Solid Red Background (Donation item)
  • Flames Background
  • New "aqua" color for torsos, arms, legs, short sleeves
  • Hospital Scrubs in both male and female versions
  • Wolverine's Gloves with Claws (In the handheld stuff section)

The tweaks included fixing some alignment issues on the arms and legs, and fixing the "Mind trick Saber in the Randomizer Bug".

I also completely reworked the "Spock/Elf Ear" hair items so that the ears now match the selected "skin tone" instead of staying yellow.

    Another Front-Pager

This sighting is particularly cool as there's a huge blurb in the top-left corner of the page. Go look before they update it again!

It must be true if it was on TV
Fox 13 in Utah has the 'Mizer as their "Web Site of the Day"

For those of you waiting for that elusive next update - it'll be along by the end of the week. Sorry for the delay, but every now and again "real life" has to take charge..

Anyone know if this is in the paper version as well?

    2.15 - Donation Build

Added two parts as thanks for donations:
  • Elton John album
  • Harp

    Non-Donation tweaks:
  • Modified layering for items so they "stack" better.

Also, after a brief conversation with a concerned party at LEGO Public Relations Europe, I added some more disclaimer text to the bottom of the site. There's no problem, but the person who emailed me wanted to be sure things stayed that way. :)

Just as a reminder, the Mini-Mizer not affiliated, sponsored, or endorsed by LEGO. If you want real LEGO, go to http://www.lego.com

A couple of folks have actually sent me money! (Now I just have to wait for PayPal to finish processing my account so I can get at it...)

As a thank you...each will get a custom part put into the next release if they want. It seems the least I can do.

Sorry, I'm just shocked that anyone went for it.

    Interesting site statistics
I just found out that my host also keeps a statistic log for my site. A bit more accurate than Bravenet as they're going from the actual server logs.

    Here's some interesting tidbits:

Total Loads: 1,028,858 (I broke a MILLION! Woooo Hooooo)
Total Visitors (unique IP) : 437,734 (So most people have been back at least once)

    Total Bandwidth used: 125.64 Gb

I'm averaging over a Gig a DAY in traffic. Closer to two. Man.

The total amount of bandwidth transferred during the selected month is 32.65 GB.
The average amount of bandwidth transferred during a month is 46.40 GB.

More of Last month's statsCollapse )
